Charleville-Mézières, world capital of puppetry arts, will host the 22nd edition of its World Festival of Puppet Theaters from September 16 to 24, 2023.A unique artistic and cultural event in the world, the Festival has combined artistic excellence and a spirit of conviviality for sixty years. Every two years, the Festival welcomes 170,000 enthusiasts: artists, creators, professional and amateur puppeteers, assiduous or occasional spectators of all ages and from all walks of life.Created by Jacques Félix in 1961 and directed since 2020 by Pierre-Yves Charlois, it ensures its territory an exceptional influence and has established itself throughout the world as the major meeting place for artists and those curious about this art.
